Halle Berry left Gayle King lost for words after proudly declaring that her vagina is ‘juicy like a peach’ after the menopause during an appearance on Tuesday’s CBS Morning.
The 58-year-old Hollywood A-lister was being interviewed by Gayle, 69, when she made the unfiltered remark and burst into laughter – before later opening up on her ‘horrific’ experience with the condition.
Oscar-winning actress Halle made the admission when Gayle said: ‘The other thing that I love that you’re talking about menopause because most people think menopause is dry vaginas, and you’re all done’.
Halle then cheekily quipped: ‘It did mean that for a minute. Now I’m juicy like the peach!’
She then burst into a fit of giggles as Gayle took the show to an ad break.

Menopause is when your periods stop due to lower hormone levels. It typically affects women between the ages of 45 and 55, but it can happen earlier.
After the break, Halle shared that she had discovered she was menopausal in the ‘most horrific way’.
She said: ‘I was diagnosed with herpes instead of a menopausal symptom, you know, and that got me awakened to the idea that if I had this little information, I wonder what millions of other women don’t have.
‘And then it just started snowballing and I realized that only we, women, can destigmatize this by talking about it, making it okay, talking about it with our husbands, our partners, our sons, our co-workers.
‘We have to give them permission to talk about it also.’
Halle has been very vocal about her experience and even held a speech at Capitol Hill in May in which she asked for legislation to fund better research and education for it.
‘This is my favorite subject,’ she told host, Robin Roberts on GMA when asked why she went to Capitol Hill.

‘I thought, “Wow, if I have one of the best doctors…I have one of the best doctors in California and he didn’t really understand what this was.” That made me realize there must be millions of women that don’t understand this.’
Elsewhere in her interview with Gayle, Halle was asked about her ongoing custody battle with her ex-husband Olivier Martinez over their son Maceo, 10.
Halle said: ‘I’m just a strong mother. I’m going to fight for my kids until my death.
‘I’m going to always be here fighting for what I think is right for my kids.’
Gayle replied: ‘I’m team Halle always.’
Halle was married to the French actor from 2013 to 2016.
