Speed Versus Strength: Lion Suffers a Crushing Defeat in Pursuit of Elusive Prey

October 14, 2023 by Pham Hien

In the clip, a humpback pig is busy looking for food when suddenly a lion ambushes in the back. However, the humpback pig discovered the danger and quickly fled at lightning speed.

Although the lion had the advantage, the humped pig still had a full speed show, running so fast that the lion could not catch up.

Finally, the distance was getting farther and farther, the lion could not catch up with the humped pig, so he gave up sadly.
The Humpback Pig is a species of wild boar in the Pig family, order Even-toed. They are the only pig species adapted to grassland and steppe environments, as they can eat from grass, roots, fruit, bark, fungi… to insects, eggs and even animal carcasses.

The ability to sprint for short distances is also a weapon that helps humpbacks survive many high-speed predators.

Meanwhile, the lion has the highest success rate of hunting in the grasslands of Africa. However, in some cases, the lion still missed the enemy in an extremely unbelievable way.
